What Information Do We Collect?

If you use our app, we may collect the following information:

• Geo-Location Information: We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application, to provide location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device settings.
• Push Notifications: We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the mobile application. If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device settings.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Geo-location data is stored only during your active session and is not kept after you close the app. Any other personal data is retained for 30 days. After that period, data is automatically deleted from our active systems.

How To Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of your data by emailing restrack.cphluganda@gmail.com with "Delete My Data" and your device ID or email. Uninstalling the app removes local data.

Cookies

When you visit the web portal, a cookie is sent to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a web portal. We use cookies to improve the quality of our services and to better understand how people interact with us. We do this by storing user preferences in cookies and by tracking user trends and patterns of how people use the web. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies.

Changes To This Policy

Uganda National Health Laboratory Service reserves the right to change this privacy policy from time to time. We expect most changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. Regardless, we will post those changes on this page.
